How to get kids to eat more vegetable
Most kids are not a fan of green vegetable, especially spinach. But turning it into a smoothie with some of their favorite fruits will cover up any taste of spinach and everyone will be happy, you because you got some greens into your kids diet and your kids because they got a yummy treat. This is also a great home remedies for constipation and bloating, so no more tummy trouble for you or your family.
You really can use any combination of fruits and veggies, but I have found that this is a very pleasant tasting smoothie without any taste of spinach. Great for constipation and bloating.
Here’s what you need:
- 1 cup of spinach (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup pineapple (fresh or frozen)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Add enough liquid to cover the fruit & veggies (water, juice, milk. Use a little more if your using ALL frozen)
Mix well in blender or Nutri bullet and enjoy. Makes 2 servings.
(Sometimes I will freeze my fresh spinach before it has a chance to go bad and it works wonderful. It freezes very well)
